As an important part of the pressure vessel, the head has the important duty of bearing pressure. However, head is also susceptible to corrosion, which affects the normal work of the pressure vessel. Head factory will generally use the following points to prevent head from corrosion problem.

1, select corrosion-resistant material: selecting corrosion-resistant material is the key to prevent corrosion of head. Different kinds of steel or other materials with good corrosion resistance can be chosen to produce head. The material of the head should be compatible with the medium loaded in order to minimize the occurrence of corrosion.

2、Control the production process: In the production process of head, it is necessary to strictly control the production link to ensure that the production process will not have corrosive influence on the head. In the production process, it is necessary to pay attention to cleaning, spraying, heat treatment and other links to fully guarantee the surface quality and corrosion resistance of the head.

3、Strengthen surface treatment: surface treatment of head is one of the important links to prevent corrosion. Sand blasting and polishing can be adopted to improve the surface finish and flatness of the head, reduce the surface problem and lower the incidence of corrosion. At the same time, after surface treatment, it is necessary to carry out protective measures such as painting or spraying in time to increase the anti-corrosion ability of the head.

4、Establish perfect quality management system: establish perfect quality management system, monitor and manage the whole process of head production, strengthen the quality control of raw materials and production process, and ensure that the quality and performance of head meet the standard requirements. At the same time, regular quality inspection and maintenance of end sockets will be carried out to discover and deal with the existing problems in time, so as to avoid the corrosion of end sockets caused by quality problems.

5、Strengthen environmental protection and management: the corrosion problem of head has close relationship with environment. Therefore, the head factory needs to strengthen the environmental protection and management, control the discharge of waste water, waste gas, waste residue and so on, and reduce the pollution to the environment. At the same time, establish perfect management system and strengthen the management of chemicals, dangerous goods, etc. to ensure smooth production.
